PalmIII

Posted Tuesday, October 26, 1999, at 12:06PM by Eric Richardson

So yesterday I decided it's about time I started using my PalmIII again. I haven't been carrying it since basically the end of last school year. It's too big and bulky to carry around a lot. (I went for the belt-clip type idea last year, but I got tired of that.) Anyway... I've decided to start carrying it again, so I was playing with it and a GoType keyboard. I also found out that since last year, Stevens Creek has added BJC-80 support to their IR printing program. These together bring a truely awesome combination.

I can now type something on the Palm, using the GoType keyboard (it's little, but it's usable). This is a ton faster than my graffiti right now. I can then take the Palm, point it at the BJC-80 we just happen to have at home and ding one printout of whatever I type slides out of the printer.

This could drastically change the way I do school assignments...
